There are a number of different award ceremonies that take place every year but, when it comes to the biggest and the best of them all, it is fair to say that the Oscars is still leading the way, with the biggest stars from around the world in attendance every year. As well as handing out awards, there are also plenty of exciting performances, one of which included the beautiful and talented Rita Ora this year.
Rita Ora took to the stage to perform the Diane Warren song Grateful, from the soundtrack for Beyond the Lights, which was nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar. Rita has now admitted that she was a nervous wreck before her performance, despite the fact that everyone had already tipped John Legend and Common to win the Oscar for their track Glory, from the movie Selma.
Ora was reminiscing about that day to the BBC, when she told them, "I'm just shaking thinking about it. I've never been that scared in my life. I threw up twice. I was petrified. I didn't want to fall off stage. Everyone knew they were going to win. Just being on that stage was enough for me... My Instagram followers went up by three million."
As well as being one of the biggest music acts in the industry right now, Rita Ora has also tried her hand at the acting game, already landing a number of interesting roles in projects such as Fifty Shades of Grey, and Fast and Furious 6, while she will next appear on the big screen in the new Jake Gyllenhaal movie Southpaw.
