There has been a lot of talk about the Fantastic Four movie for quite a few years now and it seems that things are finally beginning to get in full motion. Chronicle's Josh Trank has been working on the Fantastic Four reboot for a while now and he is almost ready to begin shooting.
Before shooting can begin though, Josh must get his cast together and he has been putting the pieces in place in recent weeks. It was recently revealed that Allison Williams was being lined up to play the Invisible Woman aka Sue Storm, in the Fantastic Four.
Now, another member of the team is on the verge of being cast. It has been reported that Michael B. Jordan, who worked with Josh Trank on the Chronicle movie, is being lined up to play the role of the Human Torch aka Johnny Storm. Michael has been having a number of meetings with Fox and is close to signing on for the movie.
Comic book fans have already expressed their annoyance at the possibility of Michael B. Jordan being cast as Johnny Storm. They feel that a white actor should be cast in the role, since Johnny Storm has been a blond white male in thousands of the comics.
What sre your thoughts on the matter?
