Ever since the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek came to an end, fans of the television series have been calling for a movie to be made but it seemed like it was never going to happen. The stars of the show have been regularly asked about it, seeming to not be interested in it.
However, it now seems that things have taken a change for the better, as three of the shows biggest stars have all signed on for the movie. James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes have all agreed to come back and star in the Dawson's Creek movie.
It has even been claimed that Michelle Williams will also have a cameo appearance in the Dawson's Creek film, despite the fact that her character died in the television series. Dawson's Creek ran for six seasons, before coming to an end in 2003.
The Dawson's Creek movie is currently being penned by the shows creator Kevin Williamson, while Gregory Prange, who directed a number of episodes of the show, is in talks to direct the project. Shooting for the Dawson's Creek film gets underway this summer, with an early 2014 release date.
