Maybe January Jones is actually similar to other women. That is one of the thoughts of some entertainment fans on social media when the beautiful actress of "Mad Men" fame revealed to the USA Today that she cried, unexpectedly, iike a baby for two hours while watching the series finale of the show that made her a Hollywood star and was the defining show in her career from 2007 to 2015 (Just Jared - June 9).
For many of her fans, female and male, it was a relief to know that she was similar to them concerning her emotions. Her image on the show "Mad Men" and in interviews is as a very strong woman and to some fans on social media the lone beauty had become an almost intimidating presence.
In real life she is a very strong, single mother who raises her son on her own and refuses to disclose the identity of her son's father and literally 'rips off the face' of any reporters who tries to find out. The sentiment regarding such a decision: intimidating. She gets accused of having an affair with a prominent, well-known chef, Bobby Flay, by his third wife Stephanie March during their divorce proceedings and the allegations impact her like water on a duck's back. Such allegations likely would have a debilitating effect on other actors but she does not even seem to blink an eye which is again impressive and a sign of exceptional mental strength.
No events ever seemed to impact January Jones and then just when some fans start to feel that they cannot relate to this beautiful actress she reveals that when she watched the final episode of the show "Mad Men" with her sister the reality that the show was ending "for real" hit her like a tonne of bricks and she displayed a human emotion that everyone can relate to: she cried.
This revelation strengthened her connection with fans to such an extent that some entertainment viewers will not be surprised if her new show "The Last Man on Earth" receives even bigger ratings in its second season.
Fans love to see their stars be exceptionally strong, especially women but they also need to know that they are in some way similar for them to be able to relate and January Jones' "Mad Men" cry disclosure did that for her relationship with her fans.
