James Bond actor Daniel Craig has revealed how he does not believe that he has any similarities to his 007 character. Daniel has played James Bond on three occasions and many people have said they can see similarities between the two, a suggestion that Daniel dismisses.
Craig explained, "Nothing – that man has nothing to do with me. Nothing at all, no. People find it very difficult not to see me as Bond now, which I always knew would happen. But what can I do about it? “It was my choice to be Bond. So I’ve got to get on with it and try to be the best Bond I can."
There has been plenty of talk about the future of James Bond, with some suggestions that Daniel Craig will continue on as 007 for many years to come, while others have suggested that it could be time to give a black actor a go at the role, with Idris Elba being the favourite.
Daniel Craig can next be seen on the big screen in the movie The Monuments Men, which is written and directed by George Clooney, who will also be starring in the film, alongside Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray and Cate Blanchett. The Monuments Men is set to be released on December 18 in the US and January 1, 2014 in the UK.
