Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning has been working in the acting industry since she was just a young girl and she has always shown a great deal of talent and potential, proving that not all child stars go off the rails, and that some can actually go on to become hugely successful. However, Dakota has been talking about her acting career admitting that, with so many other stars doing so much more than just acting, she feels like she is not doing enough.
Fanning was chatting to Britain's Marie Claire magazine, when she said to them, "'I do have moments where I feel like nowadays being just an actor isn't enough. I was listening to 'Anna Faris Is Unqualified', which I love, and I was like, [in a paranoid whisper] 'She's an actor. Now she has a podcast... am I supposed to get a podcast?!'"
She added, "It used to be that if you were an actor and you did certain things, it was cheesy, but things are changing so much. I like that the lines are blurred and you're allowed to do those things. I just don't know if I have anything I would feel authentic doing yet, because we can tell when it's not real, right? When somebody doesn't actually believe in what they're doing?"
As far as her acting career is concerned, Dakota Fanning has a number of new acting projects lined up for the coming years but we are most looking forward to seeing her in the upcoming new movie Ocean's Eight, which will see her sharing the big screen with the likes of Katie Holmes, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Olivia Munn, Sandra Bullock, and Anne Hathaway, to name just a few, with the movie set to hit the big screen on June 8, 2018 in the US and on June 22, 2018 in the UK.
