While we love to see the top Hollywood movie stars appearing on the big screen on a regular basis, it is always nice to see them mixing things up a bit and we love it when a Hollywood superstar decides to show their acting talents on the stage. That is exactly what actress Amanda Seyfried is going to be doing later in the year.
Amanda Seyfried is preparing to make her off-broadway stage debut in the upcoming production The Way We Get By, which is now just a month away. Amanda has been talking about her preparation for her stage debut and she has admitted that she is petrified about her performance.
Seyfried was chatting to Entertainment Tonight, when she said, "I always wanted to be up there. I wanted to do something else last year that ended up not happening. It was one of those things I kept putting off because I was scared s**tless. I never really felt ready for it until now. This is for me. It makes me nervous to even think about it."
It is fair to say that Amanda Seyfried is no stranger to singing and dancing, having done so on the big screen in the past, in movies such as Les Miserables and Mamma Mia. However, when asked whether she would ever consider trying her hand at an actual singing career, Amanda made it perfectly clear that we will never see that happen.
Seyfried added, "Ugh, no, I can't live like a singer. I love to sing -- but not for work. Unless it's a movie where you can put it all down in the recording studio and then forget about it."
We cannot wait to see Amanda Seyfried on the stage in The Way We Get By.
